Thank you for choosing Great Outdoors for your playset needs.
The following information is provided to you as part of Great Outdoors' care for
and commitment to child safety. Great Outdoors devotes particular attention to
safety details in the construction of all projects, but especially to projects
designed for children. Please read all guidelines thoroughly, adhere to suggestions,
and regularly inspect playsets and groundcushion before use. - Groundcushion
surfacing materials are a safety necessity. Industry standards suggest groundcushion
of depths from six (6) to twelve (12) inches underneath playsets and surrounding
equipment for a minimum of six feet in all directions. Groundcushion materials
may include rounded pea gravel, river rock, double shredded bark mulch, wood chips,
and fine sand. Customers are responsible for groundcushion preparation and maintenance.
- At
the time of completion of playsets, construction is secure for use by children
(see age limitations by specific product). Seasonal checks and surface cracks
are a natural characteristic of all wooden play equipment. However, all outdoor
wood products require maintenance. Customers should regularly inspect this equipment
for wear and safety over the lifespan of the product. Please inspect, maintain,
repair, or replace your playset as needed over time.
- No
cushion, maintenance, or preparation is a substitute for supervisions. Minimize
accidents and injury by ensuring adult supervisions of all children playing on
playsets at all times.
- Great Outdoors is not responsible
for injuries resulting from improper use, inadequate care of equipment, or natural
accidents.
Once again, thank you for letting
us "make your outdoors...Great!" We appreciate your business and wish
you years of safe fun. Customer___________________________Date:______________ |
